Thanks to Dysgen®, a simple blood test is enough to find out if a pure breed Labrador retriever has genetic predisposition to hip dysplasia.

This information is critical for the early identification (within the first three weeks of age) of dogs having high probabilities of not developing hip dysplasia. In dogs with predisposition to hip dysplasia, the very early detection of the disease allows to select the most optimal monitoring program as well as to take preventive measures to delay the onset of hip dysplasia (personalized medicine).
