The 4th scientific and technological meeting in shrimp farming, to be held on 25-26 January, will include 10 conferences, a commercial exhibit and advice for producers. It will be held in Sonora, since this is the most important shrimp producing state in Mexico, with part of its production being imported to the United States and China.
During this event, Enrique Fabian, Bioiberica’s Animal Nutrition Product manager, will present the most recent findings yielded by the research in the improvement of nutrition of shrimp. More precisely, he will discuss diets including nucleotides to improve the shrimp’s health, under a set of conditions which are increasingly complex and stressing at the production level. These conditions include adverse weather, globalization of diseases, trends toward increased sow density, prohibitions of growth promotors, variations in the cost of the raw materials used to produce fodder, etc.
Nucleoforce Shrimp Plus, a free nucleotide-based ingredient, is positioned as the ideal nutritional tool to reinforce the shrimp’s immune system, thus improving their resilience to parasites, bacteria and viruses. In other words, adding Nucleoforce to the shrimp’s diet improves their ability to adapt to stressful situations.
