Bioiberica launches Palbio 50 RD for poultry farming in Peru

Bioiberica Animal Nutrition has just launched Palbio 50 RD for poultry farming in Peru. This product is a source of high-quality protein, obtained using enzymatic hydrolysis and later dried from the fluid bed of porcine intestinal mucosa. Palbio 50 RD helps to strengthen the digestibility of the diet and food consumption, improving the productive parameters and intestinal health of broilers and laying hens.

The product is being launched by Quimtia, Bioiberica's distributor in Peru and Colombia Throughout this week, experts from both companies will present the product and offer training sessions to clients throughout the country.

According to data from the Peruvian Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation from 2019, poultry farming represents 25% of the gross value of agricultural activity in the country, which is now the fourth largest chicken producer in Latin America. This is why Peru is a key country in Bioiberica's international expansion plan.

Palbio 50 RD is one of the few products on the market obtained by authentic enzymatic hydrolysis, a proprietary process of Bioiberica, and presents 97.5% Ileal Digestibility. This ensures that the product provides up to 51.6% of digestible protein and, above all, almost no non-digestible protein. Specifically, Palbio 50 RD has demonstrated a reduction of intestinal fermentation, water consumption, injuries on the sole of the feet, the mortality rate in broiler chickens (1-2%) and the weight of the non-meaty parts of the chicken. The product has also shown an improved quality of bed and increased weight of meat in the slaughterhouse, the number of hens in production, egg weight and proportion of eggs.
