What is it and what is it for?

The peptide compounds in Armurox® act by enhancing the absorption of silicon, an element with a recognised anti-stress effect on plants, and its deposit in the leaves.

producto armurox

Benefits

  • Acts against mechanical stress: Thickens and strengthens plant tissue to prevent physical damage (lodging, crushing).
  • Acts against biotic stress: Prevents the penetration of external agents by making the plant less susceptible to enzymatic degradation by fungal pathogens (especially powdery mildew).
  • Reduces perspiration, preventing excessive water loss.
  • Leaves no residue: Due to its special composition and special mechanism of action, it does not leave any residue.
Technical specifications

Dosage and instructions for use

Applicable to any crop.

Application dose

  • Foliar application: 300-500 mL/hL
  • Fertigation: 3 – 8 L/ha

Time of application

Treat preventively when seasonal, humidity and temperature conditions favour the development of pathogens.

Form of application

The usual form of applying Armurox® is in ground foliar applications, although it is also recommended for aerial foliar applications (in banana against black sigatoka, in rice against pyricularia, etc.). It can also be applied via the roots due to the exceptional mobility the peptide complex confers on the silicon, although in this case the doses to be used per ha must be higher.

Composition

  • Active peptide complex with soluble silicon.
  • Density: 1.27 g/ml

Association with other products

To broaden the spectrum of activity against a wider range of pathogens, we recommend combining Armurox® with Optimus®. In this case the doses of use, per product, may be lower: 300 mL Armurox® + 200 mL Optimus®. Armurox® can be mixed with most commonly used fertilisers at normal application doses. However, given the basic pH of the product, a compatibility test should be carried out beforehand if it is to be mixed with many products and/or the doses are high. Furthermore, the resulting solutions must be adjusted to neutral pH as the mixture will have a high pH.
