The international congress for producers, exporters, importers and distributors of fruit is taking place in Barcelona from 11 to 13 March.
For another year, Bioiberica’s Plant Physiology Division is attending the SmartFuit Congress, one of the most relevant national events for fruit producers and distributors. Bioiberica will present a new, highly precise, product using manned aircraft: their Crop-Scan plant diagnostic service.
This is without a doubt an extremely useful tool for large agricultural estates –thanks to its ability to monitor several parameters, obtained through thermal and multi specter imaging. Crop-Scan is capable of identifying, in a quick and efficient way, the main factors causing plant stress.
This second congress of SmartFruit will be attended by more than 70 experts from the fruit cultivation sector. They will spend three days discussing up-to-date issues ranging from sustainable production to Integrated Management of Pests. Regarding the latter, two of the issues highlighted are the management of the Drosophila Suzukii and Ceratitis Capitata pests. Against these pests, Bioiberica’s Plant Physiology Division offers proven solutions that have been successfully tried on several different crops: SuzukiiTrap and Ceratrap.
These two biological attractants, along with the rest of the Plant Physiology range of products (biostimulants, bioavailable nutrition, plant protection solutions, etc.) will be present at our booth in the exhibitor’s area. Bioiberica wishes to convey its appreciation to the attendees who have expressed interest in our plant stress diagnostic system, as well as in our solutions for plant stress.
Bioiberica's primary goal is to continue offering solutions for maintaining optimal crop health when faced with inclement weather.
