Bioiberica Veterinary presented at the GEVO conference the biological effects of several different chondroitin sulfate formulations

The 15th Conference in Orthopedics and Traumatology of the GEVO (Grupo de Especialistas Veterinarios en Traumatología y Ortopedia, or Group of Veterinaries Specializing in Traumatology and orthopedics), which was held on 29 April-2 May in Ibiza, Spain, came to a successful conclusion for both organizers and visitors. During this symposium, in which Bioiberica actively collaborated, relevant specialists in the locomotor system of cats and dogs discussed the latest developments in their sector.

Bioiberica’s Veterinary Division was present at the exhibitors’ area, presenting, among other novelties, the results of the latest study on the effects of chondroitin sulfate that was published in the Molecules journal. This study put the emphasis on the importance of the different qualities of chondroitin sulfate, which may vary depending of its source of origin, manufacture and composition, and that pharmaceutical-grade chondroitin has been proved to have structural benefits, as well as to improve symptoms, in the treatment of osteoarthritis.

Cosequin Taste HA and Condrovet Taste, both made by Bioiberica Veterinaria, contain 100 percent pure chondroitin sulfate.
